For once in my life I actually stayed up to watch an awards show, The Oscars. Yes, it was totally worth it. I started off by telling myself, ‘I’ll just watch the red carpet.’ Just the red carpet turned into, ‘Wow; I can’t believe The Oscars are almost over.’

This seasons Oscar gowns were very tasteful and had some classic silhouettes. Many of the gowns were even custom made to fit the baby bumps or just the actor’s style. My favorite gown had to be Lupita Nyong’o. It was a powder blue with a deep V neck and Grecian like accordion pleats. While on the red carpet the actress said that the gown reminded her of home.
